Rec-Ball Timmy Build

This marker came about from 3 or 4 other projects/build ideas. The BIGGEST part of this project is running it on Co2 all of the time. I also picked up a Warpfeed for a good price cause I always wanted one.

Yes that is 3 Palmer regulators, female, fatty & micro rock. Along with those I will use an anti-siphon'd 68ci tank. With all of that being used I highly doubt I will have issues with liquid getting to the solenoid. Im sure if I turned it so I could dump liquid Co2 into it & run it on uncapped long enough it will cause problems but I am capping it at 10bps. Might bump it up a little if the game has more people in it.

The barrels are being shared with my Alias which is for speedball.

Unless my plans change, which is always a high possibility, this gun will get completely re-ano'd in Type3.

Forgive me for asking but why the need to run Co2? I'm guessing it's simply to be able to say so but IMO, Compressed air is fine for recball and since you already have a tank for it why revert to Co2?

The additional Reeg just adds weight and good luck shooting on your weak side with the Warp feed! LOL
Those things can prove cumbersome.

Looks great in the stock color BTW but Ano away to your liking. :tup:

The reason behind Co2 is the field I go to now only has Co2. A couple of us are slowly convincing the owner HPA isnt a bad idea at all. I could always drive the 40 miles for air & a lot of BS.

I know the female palmer is over kill but I already had it from my Spyder & it wont hurt. Shooting my left side, I know it will be harder to shoot that side but I rarely swap hands during recball.

Well that's garbage... Ever thought of buying a couple Scuba Tanks and filling them to fill your tanks during the day? Your field owner should be sensitive to and cater to the needs of all players who frequent his establishment. HPA is the standard for over a decade now and it's a given that most players who go to an actual field probably have better equipment that requires the use of HPA and NOT Co2 which could potentially damage internal components.

As to swapping hands, I can't play without doing so regardless of the style of game. I practiced so much over the years, it's just a part of my game. I literally switch hands while the gun is in mid air in under a second. My only weakness is my left hand not being nearly as coordinated as my right so I shoot slower when shooting left but still quite formidable.

Unlike some of the other guys, I'm all for this. CO2 tanks are lighter, and are much more efficient (tank size / shot count). I'll be interested to see what numbers you get out of this. Though personally I'm not the biggest fan of the warp, or the fact that you converted a 68ci tank for that job... would've been more interested to see what kind of numbers you might make with a 12oz.

Sorry to disappoint everyone but I sold/parted it. The regs are still going to be used on my Rage & I plan to try it on Co2 just to see what I can get.

I am working on a very recball timmy but it probably wont get very far other than a few parts & a test or two. I have my Rage to build, Sterling to tune for 12grams then set my wife up with her new gun. On top of that, I have tabs on a Boston Reflex cocker.... so ya.
