ok guys..im currently working on getting my two timmies up to speed..i havent even played with either of them yet..just been tweaking them..i have a 2.6 WAS Lcd board in my texas storm timmy that isnt working too well,at least thats what the gun tech who teched it recently for me said, and i cannot get the menu on it anymore..tried,it wont work..so i was wondering..could i put the working WAS board of my gz intimidator, which is an led framed 2k2 timmy, into the lcd framed texas storm..by the way both are 2k2 frames as well..let me know..if there isnt a discrepancy..if so..then that would be great..thanks guys..
I think as long as you have a LED connected to the board, you are set.

You absolutely can use the WAS from your GZ in your Storm. All WAS boards are of the same design, with both LCD and LED capability. You'd just have to plug your LCD ribbon into the GZ WAS board when you swap it over. And like Nero said, you could also use the LED, as long as that's hooked up you don't even need the LCD because you can trigger program it by using the LED flashes as well.
There is ONE exception here - WAS v.2.9 does NOT support the LCD any longer (it is the latest version code released by WAS that supports ramping and full auto) so if you end up with this version (lopez17 flashes them still as far as I know) you'd be limited to only using the LED to program the board.
