Ive been tossing this around for a few days now & want to know what everyone else says/thinks.

We all know, as BL owners, that your supposed to use Dow55 throughout BL markers (minus the bolt). What about non-BL regulators such as AKALMP or Palmer? Both of those companies use a liquid lube & I have a small issue about mixing the liquid & grease. I have done it before but it was such a little amount for a short time but wonder about long term use of a liquid lubed regulator lubed with grease.

I was talking to someone about using a different liquid lube in a timmy a while back & he brought up the speed & amount of air going through the gun during play. I got to thinking that I might have to check & possibly re-lube once through out the day (big day & with a lot of paint).

Thanks Nick. The last post on page 2 said something about KY. The funny thing is I ran a Spyder with KY just to see what would happen.

I've used AKA Lube or KC troublefree in my 2-Liters for the last seven years. If you bleed the reg when you put the lube in, it rarely, if ever, goes through. The only issue I had was that a little got through the LPR, diluted the Dow on the poppet and caused some FSDO, which was quickly rectified. Beyond that, no issues. I think Dan from PBN recommended a little Dow33 inside sidewinders and two liters a few years back.
