Shoutbox is currently down....

Based on a number of people mentioning lag and slowness on the site, I've tried disabling the shoutbox to see if it helps. If anybody has input on site behavior (lag, slowness, non-responsivness, etc) please post here:

I never really had too many problems with lag or slowness just occasionally the page wouldnt load but would load in an attempt a few minutes after. Bring back the sb asap lol

ahem... shoutbox is back... slightly optimized to lessen impact on server resources, but I don't think this was the problem.

We'll keep an eye on it
