ok this one may be a little dumb but I gotta ask....can you downgrade the code on a WAS board? Go from 2.9 back to 2.8 to get the lcd working? Thanks for the help.

I guess but I don't know but as long as someone still has the old software somewhere to flash it "down" I don't see why not.

No you can't. You have to have WAS redo the board code. Converting from 2.8 to 2.9 is more than just a code flash it's also a firmware update and getting the firmware back to what's needed for 2.8 code is more than just a tweak.
