UPDATE 10-26-11...
PRE-ORDERS will begin tonight!!!
Sorry for my not updating you guys sooner but I hit quite a few snags along the way with Machinists who committed to manufacturing them,
only to drop off the face of the earth when it came time to produce them. This includes several In-Industry manufacturers who were initially
excited to work with me but ended up taking their sweet time to provide a quote, some of which never actually sent me one. Just terrible
business practices in this industry as a whole which is not how I was taught to do business.
As it stands, I have submitted payment to my new Machinist to start the job. Between Machining and Anodizing we're facing 4-6 weeks before
I have the final product in hand, upon which all Pre-Orders will be sent out immediately.
CUSTOM ANODIZE
As far as custom Anodizing is concerned, I still have to check with my Anodizer to see which of the current Bob Long colors he is familiar with
and is comfortable in reproducing almost exact if not absolutely exact. Personally, I know Slime Green will be one of the colors I offer and and
the Electric Blue/Teal and Burnt Orange I will have to discuss with him but feel free to offer up a common color I may be overlooking.
If you have a custom color you'd like to have matched you will have to send in an actual part for reference and we will do our best to match
it but that will incur an additional fee on top of the standard custom Anodizing fee being as we'd more than likely have to mix color or order a
specific lye in order to best match the color. Keep in mind that Anodizing is not an exact science but my anodizer is really good with consistency
and color accuracy.
I know he's done some of your Custom ano jobs so rest assured he knows paintball intimately.
Pricing will be as follows:
Standard Color Trigger (SABER or KODACHI)........... $40.00
Custom Anodize Factory Color.......................... add $8.00
Custom Anodize Color Match.......................... add $14.00
Raw Un-Anodized Trigger.................................... $32.00
GEN5 POWER Triggers - VERY LIMITED RUNS
For those of you who were not lucky enough to score one of my Triggers for the GEN5 Timmys (Protege & Vice), I will do VERY LIMITED RUNS
but I cannot do so until I have at least 12 Pre-Paid Orders. These will be small custom runs and I would be running them just to get them in your
hands as that low a quantity will barely allow me to break even.
So if you're eyeballing a GEN5 POWER Trigger, put the word out and see if you can't get several people to go in on an order with you.
NOTE: Please do not submit Payment for GEN5 Triggers via my Site as I will be disabling that altogether and will only receive payment
directly through my PayPal account upon confirmation all slots are filled. GEN5 Triggers are a Special Order and will make reference as such
on my site.
FINALLY...
POWER PB is Back!!! and just about ready to resume manufacturing 2 of the best Triggers ever made (KODACHI & SABER),
only this time for the G6R & Victory Platforms!
I literally just sent the final files to my Machinist to have the first set of Prototypes run for the final test fitting of the actual final
product to a G6R Frame!!!
While they're not done yet, below are some pics of each to show how identically they fit within the G6R frame as they did in the
GEN5 Frame. These hold the exact identical geometry of Bob's factory Triggers right down to the Swiss-Cheese machining on the
back side for weight reduction and they once again dawn the Weight Reduction Channel on the backsides I developed initially for
the GEN5 POWER Triggers to make them as light as humanly possible while not compromising strength. The WRC will allow you
to run right off the Microswitch (Just like CF Triggers) without the need for pesky Magnets that weigh down a Trigger, in order to
reduce Mechanical Bounce. In my many years of experience they feel just as light and snappy as QUALITY Carbon Fiber Triggers
with the added perk of them matching the anodizing of your Marker.
Most will be Anodized straight Black but they will be offered in the basic Stock Color of the G6R & Victory as well, with the option
of having one or more custom anodized to match BLAST's more popular Special Order Colors like the Slime Green, Lighter Teals,
Burnt Orange as well as others. And for those of you who are wanting to anodize your Markers but are worried about having a
matching Trigger... Great News. At a slightly reduced cost, you will have the option of ordering your Trigger(s) Raw and Unfinished
(all hardware included of course) so you can have the exact finish and color on your Trigger as well.
Exact price point will be released SOON but expect them to be competitively priced with other High-Quality Triggers! The first Batch
will be done through Pre-Order Exclusively and only the first 30 people will get them in the first run!
(Sorry but Custom Colors will only be available after the Pre-Order Runs are fulfilled)
