Know any auto mecahnics or machinests? Every mechanic/machinest worth his salt has a "back-out" kit. This will grab any metal left and allow you to unscrew the part still in the body. AND if worse comes to worse the mechanic/machinest can grab their tap and die kit if they booger up the hole and just thread it for a slightly larger screw then off to the hardware store. Yeah it might look a little silly but it will be functional.

If you don't have a machinist/shop close and/or you just want to do it yourself you can also try an "easy-out" (aka screw extractor) from the hardware store. Get the smallest one they have.

Also if you can remove the eye cover and there is a little bit of the screw still sticking out of the body, take a dremel and make a notch in the top of the screw so you can unscrew it with a flathead, or you can try to unscrew it with a vice grips or something (that is, if there is enough protruding to grab)

there is enough protruding out of the body so that i should be able to grab it, bu vicegrips wont grab hard enough and i havent had time to look for a machinist...school. i have looked online at the sizes of the ezouts that they make, and none seem small enough for this screw, this screw seems like it is in with locktite, but i NEVER locktite anything like this.

In that case the best thing to do would be to dremel a slit into the top of the protruding screw.. and use a flat head screwdriver in the slit to remove it

i cant get the dremel cutting wheel into the small area where the screw is, i will try wearing the cutting wheel down then getting it into there. its on an 06 infamous, and i dont want to slice the body

im going to say that a machinist is going to be your best bet. even if they have to drill and retap the hole slighty larger.

Yeah if its that difficult to do you should take it to a shop

I may be thinking wrong but if there is any of the screw on the inside of the body then you could grip it there and twist it through, maybe.

try an "easy-out" (aka screw extractor)

Easy-out / Back-out Yeah that's what I ment. My Dad and friends are the mechanics so I guess I got close enough for guess work LOL

I've got easy-outs,and carbide bits down to .040,take a small dia center punch, and mark the center of the broken screw,(you may have to file/grid the screw surface flat in order to get the center).Use your carbide bit,and light pressure, letting the bit do the work,as to not break the bit off in the screw. When you get your hole drilled, and you dont have to drill all the way through the screw, tap in your small easy out,and back out the broken screw.Be careful not to use to much force backing it out,as you could snap off the easyout, and then the problem really starts. On some stuborn screws/bolts,I've went as far as to use dry ice or nitorgen to shrink it,to back them out.amazing what one drop of nitrogen can do to a stuborn screw.I dont suggest doing the nitrogen, unless you are fully aware of the dangers you are risking.Breathing/handling.If you cant find a small carbide bit,or easyout, let me know, and I'll send you some.First I'd try to cut a slot in the screw, like crankwalk suggested, and use a small screw driver to back it out,if that fails, then the easyout is your best bet.
