Guy's,

I have been going through the BST threads and have noticed that some users are NOT following the rules clearly stated in the BST sticky .

ALL BST threads MUST at a minimum include a picture and feedback link. Besides being a rule, this is for the benefit of potential buyers to see what they are hopefully going to purchase, and it is also a benefit to YOU in that you stand a better chance of attracting a potential buyer .

I think of myself as a fair moderator, and have contacted offending members via PM's to ask them to address the matter of not posting pictures and feedback, rather than deleting their threads. I could name and shame the users here, but I won’t. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!:o

If members are not willing to follow the rules clearly stated in the sticky, then you leave me and fellow moderators no other option but to delete your posted threads.

Seeing as the weekend is approaching, and users have more free time to log-on and check their threads, I am giving you until Monday evening to edit your threads and post the required links and pictures.

Regards...

KeenDean, moderator.

Ok Keen Bean .. oh whoops too much Richie Rich Ok KeenDean you say I must have a link to my feedback. The only feedback I have is on eBay every other transaction I have ever had on a forum has been face to face and the sell has not left me feedback. So what do I do in that case?

I appreciate that some members do not have feedback on this or other paintball forums. However, it clearly states in the BST rules sticky that NO links should be posted to non paintball feedback threads, this includes eBay.

If a buyer requests feedback, you are perfectly entitled to PM the buyer with a link to your eBay feedback.

Absolutely. The rules are in place for a reason, to make it easier and safer to buy/sell on this forum.. not to make it more difficult, more of a pain, or to alienate a legitimate seller or trader. Buyers always want to see a picture of what they're getting, and if you do have good feedback on a non-paintball site, then it will be up to the buyer to make the decision to deal with you and this can be worked out via PMs. Thanks for the post Dean.

Pictures definitely help the seller and potential buyer. Please make the pictures where you actually see the details of scratches and dents.

Ok so I have no feedback on any paintball site by no fault of my own since I have bought items but never sold something from posts on other sites but have never received feedback and I'm not permitted to link to non paintball feedback then what do I do? Can I elude to my eBay feedback without a link or do I have to wait till someone I buy something from leaves me feedback or do I just state in the place of where my feedback goes that I have no feedback on any authorized sources?

I'm not trying to "bust anyones chops" on this but to get the info for the future if I ever decide to sell something I need to know how I can follow the rules.

Well the no ebay feedback stipulation was mainly because its easy to find a user with great feedback on ebay and claim the link as one's own, since a lot of the time users' paintball forum names and ebay names are different.

Again, not trying to make it more difficult for sellers but safer for everyone overall. So let's just make this as the solution - If you as a seller wants to put something up on the IOG BST and have no paintball site related feedback, then I think the only thing to do would be to put something at the bottom of the post like "I have {ebay / heatware / other hobby forum} feedback, please PM me for details".

Now we understand none of this is foolproof - but as this is a paintball forum we want to try to keep public linking in BST posts to feedback that resides on this and other paintball forums only. Thanks.

Thanks Crank. If my Alias keeps acting like it has over the past few times I tried use it a problem came up it might be on the FS part of the B/S/T.
