Hey IOG
just thought i would post up a few pics of my project i have been working on. when i got this marker it was in pretty rough shape leaky ram leaking out of the front block and the hoses from the solenoid were full of black slime so it has been fun getting it up and running
so i replaced a bunch of o-rings(thanks crankwalk) so that stopped all the leaks , replaced all the barbs and hose with highflo(thanks again crankwalk). after i got the gun running i started tinkering.

Then I installed a Ion 360 QEV where the front barb should be

Woah, does the QEV work at all? That sounds like a brilliant thing to do. I may need to try this out on my Abomb if it works out for you.

hmm seem legit let us know how she works and if it makes it any better than it already is
nice job! qev wont help too much and gets clogged with dow 55 after a while but ive never tried that one
one thing is that since U cut more of a inch of front hose U can reduce bolt delay by 3-5 clicks

Ran a pod thru the marker last night, gun seemed to cycle a little faster with my slow fingers, one thing i have to do to this thing is get a better board so i can adjust bolt delay and and such, the speedy 2 doesn't adjust much. will take this to the field and give it a good test soon and update you guys

what did you do with the screw that holds the spring and little ball bearing for the bolt pin? I tried cutting down my bolt but ran into that problem

For my Pillow bolts, I just sanded it down until I hit the face of the screw and looks just like his in the pic.

ha and everyone hate my ND when i had a volumizer on it. red/black is the way to go for the ND, man you gotta get your hands on a necro ram ;) i think 8 of my guns have them now and they are worth every peny if you can find them.
did you rethread for the QEV or is it the same threads?

needs to be re-tapped to 10-32 threads, just did that to my junk parts project timmy with a 2k2 sleeve and now a palmer's swivel QEV, I'll let you guys know how it works out when I get the electronics for it, I've also swapped the rear barb for a 3/32" ID barb, hopefully the 'noid can keep up with it to where I can see a difference in performance, otherwise it'll go back to 1/16" ID.

You could always just bump up the dwell a bit.
Higher flow barbs also could mean there's a smaller chance of the hose blowing since it's higher flowing and lower pressure...
Or I'm just still a bit of a retard. Either way, that's tight.

time keeper is right you have to re-thread the hole, since these pic were posted i have milled the bolt some more, i made it shorter so when the bolt is completely back you can not see it, i also turned the bolt pin on the lathe removing everything so you cant see it on the marker and taped it for a small screw for removal will post pics soon
