Review of Stinger Paintball Designs (SPD) custom grips

I needed some new grips for my custom anno'd A-Bomb Intimidator and figured I would give SPD a try. The cost was competitive to other grips, but these were 100% custom.

I contacted them via the website and received a reply almost instantly and thus began my design communications with SPD.

First let me tell you the speed at which SPD communicates with its customers is outstanding. I am used to waiting a day or two for a response, but not SPD. For the most part I was getting responses back within an hour of e-mailing them. That really is amazing. It really helped during the design because it did not take days to get samples back. From start to finish it took five business days and that includes getting the grips to me. Three days of design refinements and actually making the grips, and two days to get the grips to me using Priority mail from the USPS.

I got the grips in a standard padded envelope. The grips were in a zip top type bag with the grips, instructions and shorter blacked out screws.

Here are the grips in the bag and removed showing the contents:

The grips are very well made and the color and image are exactly as shown in my original design. No deviation at all. The back side of the grips has a protective film on them to keep the image from getting scratched (that was one of my concerns, so this was a nice touch)

Here is the back of the grips showing the coating:

They are very comfortable in your hands and look great to boot.

Over all I am very pleased with the SPD grips, the SPD customer service and the look on the marker. If you want something to customize your marker and make it unique, give SPD a call. You will get nothing but professional and custom work!

Dude, seriously that is one buff marker. The grips really make a difference, and I think they complement the theme excellently.

You must be thrilled with the end result of a hot looking A-bomb.

I liked the review. If I still had my project timmy this would have definitely helped me decide with the grips, seeing that this was a company that I did look at. Like crankwalk said the pictures you provided were also really good. Nice marker by the way.
